What movie several years ago had multiple split-screens of like 6 or 8 people running at the same time?

There was a movie a few years back that had several split-screens
going on at once, I forget the name of the movie or even what it was
about, except that I think? think it followed the lives of like 6 or 8
New Yorkers, or city-folk. But i think the movie was supposed to be
like that the whole time?
